Within three to five years of graduation, geomatics engineering graduates are expected to exhibit the following professional characteristics:
1. Practice geomatics engineering: within the professional areas of boundary and land surveying, GIS, photogrammetry, remote sensing, mapping, geodesy, and global navigation satellite positioning systems in governmental institutions or private sector
2. Be in charge of national/international projects for the benefit of public : cooperation with international agencies or research institutions for solving the environmental and economic issues and providing support service to, the economic development of, the region, the state and the nation within geomatic scope
3. Follow the technologic and social developments within lifelong learning objective: Benefit of advancing geospatial technology. Both formally and informally, by engaging in lifelong learning experiences including attainment of graduate studies
4. Pursue their MSc/PhD in national/international universities: Expanding the vision of spatial as well as geomatic aspects for their academic and professional activities. Forming cooperation between private sector and universities for the future of the geomatic industry.
